    Our lives in the modern world are filled with stressors. We can’t avoid them all. However, too much stress can affect our relationships, our working ability, and even our health. It’s in our best interest to reduce stress in our lives as much as possible. These tips can help with that process.

    Focus on reducing the level of stress in your everyday life. There are many health problems associated with high levels of stress, including high blood pressure, heart conditions, depression, insomnia, and strokes. Getting adquate sleep will minimize stress and can even reduce the possibility of getting sick.

    Stop clenching your teeth and relax your jaw. When we are stressed out, the tension will focus somewhere in our bodies; most commonly in the jaw. When you are stressed, touch your jaw, clench, breathe slowly in, and then release. This is an exercise to help ease stress and discomfort.
